Throughout the world, people are increasingly concerned about unemployment. It is the state of an individual looking for a paying job but not having one.
The more the unemployment problem in a country, the less the proper utilization of educated youths & hence the less economic growth of the country.
A recent survey reveals that ‘unemployment’ is the most discussed dilemma globally. The survey was held between 23 countries and it showed that because of unemployment, people has joined corruption and it is the main reason of poverty also.
Between the month of July and September, survey resulted that almost a fifth talked about being without a job, with 24 percent discussing corruption and 20 percent severe poverty.
In United Kingdom (UK) the toll of unemployment is all set to go up to almost 3 million next year as fiscal recession bites harder with experts predicting the jobs market will get shoddier before it gets enhanced.
Unemployment is the most talked about issue in Spain, where unemployment is currently at 22.6 percent, the poll of 11,293 people. It is the biggest cause of stress, home repossessions; it can create a feeling of alienation from society, a rise in unemployment leads to lower tax revenue (less income tax) and higher government spending on benefits. Higher unemployment will also lead to lower spending in the economy leading to lower growth.
The economic and social costs of unemployment are far greater. However, it is not unable to get along to have both low price rises and low unemployment. Economic and financial conditions of a nation are considered as its pillars.
Unemployment is a major factor, which is destroying these pillars. Almost all countries are facing this problem. Unemployment is biggest obstacle in path of progress of any country.
