Entertainment Desk: "The Artist" swept the British Film Academy Awards (BAFTA) on Sunday winning seven awards including Best Picture. Michel Hazanavicius won the awards for Best Actor, Original Screenplay, and Best Director, which sounds great.
The BAFTA is equivalent to the Oscars. It awarded Jean Dujardin as the lead actor for the film "The Artist". The film, which was criticised for no solid script, dominated the event on February 12.
